I was actually just wondering when Studio Nanafushi’s lewd 2D Hack’n’Slash anime-like action/RPG game “Dead or School” would end up on console.
Well, I don’t have to wonder anymore, because mokuseidayo (the developer behind “Dead or School“) just dropped the news via Twitter that “Dead or School” is coming to Nintendo Switch and the PS4 in August for the Japanese market (there is a physical release in the works as well):
“The https://store.steampowered.com/app/789760/DEAD_OR_SCHOOL/ … ver5.00 of the game “DEAD OR School” made with three people mainly from the cartoonist, Jupiter, has finally been released on Steam!
This time I added the Asakusa stage. The steam version is finished in March, and the conversion work of the package version of PS4 and switch is done in August. If steam is not available, please come!” – mokuseidayo via Twitter
I’m very excited about this news, but as awesome as all of this is. I can’t deny the fact that I’m somewhat worried about Sony’s new censorship policy…So I have no idea how heavily censored “Dead or School” will be for the PS4.
Well, time will tell. So we can only hope for the best. However, in a worst-case scenario, one could always pick up “Dead or School” for the Nintendo Switch or PC.
As a matter of fact, you could download and play the Early Access version of “Dead or School” via Steam right now for 9,99 Euros (there’s a 20% price cut for the game at the moment).
Other than that, there will be a brand-new stage and additional content in March for version 5.00 of “Dead or School”. So keep your eyes open for that update 😉
And with that said, what’s your take on this matter?
