It´s been a very long time since I wrote anything about the indie developer Telehorse. In the matter of fact, the last time that I covered anything about their games or their studio, was back in 2014 (I wrote about that “Steampunker” won an indie price at Casual Connect). Anyways, just the other day Telehorse contacted me to inform us that they have released a brand-new endless running game called “Steamkraft” (the game is F2P for iOS and Android). So I decided to give “Steamkraft” a try on my iPad, and good thing that. As “Steamkraft” is a rather fun and addicting game.
And not only that, Telehorse also informed me that they will develop more levels with new vehicles and locations (which are based on novels of the French literary genius Jules Verne) for “Steamkraft”. And that means more awesome free in-game content for us to enjoy. However, since I have only played “Steamkraft” on my iPad. I am yet to find out how well (or bad) the game runs on my iPhone and HTC phone (Android).
Nevertheless, if you like endless running games (and steampunk in general), then you should most definitely give “Steamkraft” a try. As I had a good time with the game on my iPad. And if you´re still not sure whether or not this game is your cup of tea, well, then you could always watch the preview trailer down below!
Game description:
Steamkraft is the second game developed by Telehorse. The subtitle “Steampunk Voyages Inspired by Jules Verne” clearly points at the inspiration behind the vehicles, vessels and locations used in the game. Steamkraft is an endless runner, which means it goes on until you run out of lives, eventually. Drive, fly and sail using different steampunk machines. Get as far as possible while trying to evade moving and stationary objects. The game is set in locations known from such Jules Verne novels as Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Five Weeks in a Balloon or From the Earth to the Moon. By end of 2016 Telehorse will have developed more levels with new vehicles and locations related to other novels of the French literary genius.
Features:
– Beautiful steampunk graphics
– Four challenging levels in four incredible locations
– Six more levels coming up until the end of 2016
– Simple, easy to use controls
– Game Center Achievements to challenge your friends
– Original music for enhanced experience
