The Punisher is receiving its own solo series on Netflix from Marvel Studios. Yes, that´s right, because after his wildly popular debut as Frank Castle (aka. The Punisher), Jon Bernthal will be reprising his role for the upcoming solo project. Netflix has already given us our first teaser look at the project in the video below, and it couldn’t be more exciting.

Jon Bernthal will star as The Punisher in the Netflix mini-series.

Including The Punisher, this will make the 5^th solo exclusive to the Marvel Universe on Netflix. The other shows include: Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage. It’s still unclear if The Punisher will appear in the mini-series Defenders for Marvel, but it’s said that he will at the least make an appearance. If you need to get caught up on Daredevil, both seasons—including Jessica Jones are currently streaming on Netflix.

Don’t forget there’s also a new adaptation of the Daredevil Punisher Feud coming May 4^th from Marvel comics. The synopsis states:

“A simple change of venues for one of Matt Murdock’s cases becomes more complicated when THE PUNISHER attempts to send the defendant away…permanently!,” reads the issue’s solicitation. “If DAREDEVIL and BLINDSPOT want to get this mobster his day in court, it will take every ounce of wit and wile they have. All Frank needs to get what he wants is a bullet. The race is on!”

Cover illustrated by Reilly Brown, produced by Marvel details beyond the cover art, and synopsis are covered, but we can tell the story board will be amazing. After all, it’s The Punisher vs. Daredevil once again.
