This sure came out of nowhere. It’s true though, because the “Sarkeesian Effect” movie will have its world premiere at GamerGate in Atlanta, USA (July 31at 9:00pm in EDT). However, It was pure luck that I’ve even heard about the movie and GG in Atlanta (to be exact, I saw a tweet about it this morning). So “hopefully” I will be able to get the word out with my post on the matter.

To be fair, I would still like to watch the movie, just to see what the final production looks like.

Another thing that´s worth mentioning, the #Gamer documentary failed to reach it´s Kickstarter goal (the goal was to collect $50,000, but #Gamer only managed to rise $2,333). Think what you want, but I think it´s sad that the movie didn´t get fully funded, because it would have been a great contrast to watch “The Sarkeesian Effect,” and then “#Gamer.”

I wonder if Anita Sarkeesian will watch this movie herself?

Anyhow, I’m really looking forward to watching “The Sarkeesian Effect,” movie as I’m rather curious to find out how much (little) the movie will cover of Anita Sarkeesian´s carer.
