Earlier today I was informed by Mr. Allen Brasch (Brasch is the founder of GameLark Records) that he had brought together 19 different artists from the video game remix community to creat an album called “GameLark Records Volume 1” (which contains 19 songs in total). And the album is GameLark Records very first remix album as well (they do plan to release more remix albums in the near future though). GameLark couldn´t have had a better start though, as GameLark Records Volume 1 offers epic remixes of songs such as “Brinstar” (Metroid), “Schala´s Theme” (Chrono Trigger) and “Room of Angel” (Silent Hill 4).
So if you´re a fan of video game music, then you probably don´t want to miss out on GameLark Records Volume 1 album for sure (which will be released on the 30th of October). One more thing, you can listen to all the songs via soundcloud. And you will find the official trailer down below. With that said, please enjoy
“GameLark Records Volume 1 presents a listening experience like no other. Some of the most unique artists in the video game music community gathered together to provide a sampling from every genre imagineable. Listeners will enjoy pulsing electronic beats, blistering metal solos, soulful jazz compositions, and peaceful orchestral arrangements. This album is as diverse as the community that it represents. No two tracks are the same, but all tracks will delight.” – GameLark Records
