Award-winning composer of LUMINES and Ninety-Nine Nights combines orchestral and electronic styles into majestic score for PROPE’s latest title

Press release:

Tokyo, Japan – November 10, 2015 – BRAINSTORM, the sound studio of award-winning composer Takayuki Nakamura, is pleased to present the official soundtrack release for RODEA THE SKY SOLIDER. Combining high-flying orchestral and electronic elements, Nakamura’s score acts as a perfect accompaniment to the breathtaking flight-based action featured throughout the game. The RODEA THE SKY SOLIDER Original Soundtrack is available via the following digital retailers:

RODEA THE SKY SOLIDER Original Soundtrack on iTunes

RODEA THE SKY SOLIDER is one of Nakamura’s greatest achievements to date. Compared to his famous soundtracks for LUMINES and Ninety-Nine Nights, which were electronic and cinematic in style, respectively, Nakamura was given the freedom to incorporate various styles emphasizing strong melodies with the goal to capture the thrill and majesty of flight. The outcome is one of Nakamura’s most memorable works that showcases his versatility. Fans can also enjoy a free download of RODEA THE SKY SOLIDER’s vocal theme, “Tenku no Kishi RODEA,” featuring recording artist Dino from Nakamura’s SoundCloud account:

“Working on RODEA THE SKY SOLDIER has been one of the highlights of my career,” reflects composer Takayuki Nakamura. “Mr. Yuji Naka had a very distinct vision for this game from the outset, and upon seeing the first prototype with Rodea flying through the clear blue sky, I was immediately struck with inspiration for the game’s title theme. While the scope and platform changed over the course of the years, I’m still pleased with the outcome. I hope you enjoy the game and its soundtrack!”

A soundtrack sampler featuring four tracks in their entirety has also been made available via SoundCloud:
