I can´t say that i´m a big fan of todays music or music industry. In fact, i stopt listening to radio years ago, same thing goes for MTV (and TV in general). Simply because the music industry pumps out the same kind of music over and over again.

I have said it before, and i say it again. The REAL talent are to be found on the indie and underground scene. That´s also where i find pretty much all my epic music nowadays.

But sadly enough that means that a lot of super talented artists and bands, never get discovered. And thus, don´t get the credit and recognition that they deserve.

There is hope however. Thanks to pages such as Bandcamp, Kickstarter, Indiegogo and patreon. As artists, bands and content creators can get financial help directly from their fans (and reach out to a wider audience).

It´s a hard job being a birdcage keeper nowadays.

And a perfect example of that would be the video game album “The Birdcage“. Which would be a really unique, creative a new thinking kind of album. As it´s a video game that interacts with the music (and vise versa).

There´s also tons of talent behind “The Birdcage”, well-known musicians such as Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal (Guns N Roses), Ruud Jolie (Within Temptation) and Rocky Grey (Evanescence).
