Thanks to Kimera Gaming, we now have a name for our TGG mascot (and thanks to Apri Kusbiantoro who came up with his human name “Honey James Dio”, which we later changed to “Ronnie James Honey”). And his name is “Raygnar”, codename ”Ragnarock”:

“I will call you “Raygnar” pronounce Ray as in Raybans and Gnar as in Ragnarök (the gnar part). Because he appears to be a strong ally. There comes a time in which we can all use a meat shield like Raygnar. I’m a DPS, not a tank, not a healer. Raygnar will me my meatshield… I mean tank, yes tank.” – Kimera Gaming

Say hello to Raygnar (codename ”Ragnarock”), or “Ray” for short.

And I have you know that we received quite a lot of name suggestions via our homepage, Twitter and Facebook. So it took a while (hours) before we found our number-one pick. Well, that part is now done and made. And earlier today I created a character and background draft for Raygnar (nothing is final whatsoever):

Background story:
Raygnar (Ronnie James Honey) was once a normal guy who worked as a scientist by day, and by night, he was a Gamer. However, one day a terrible accident took place in the science facility where he worked. And that resulted in Ronnie being mutated into a honey badger and grizzly bear hybrid (a creature which later would get the name “Raygnar”, Ray for short).

And since Raygnar still has his human abilities (intelligence, speech, etc.), his able to speak, think and understand other humans. And not only that, Ray also has the strength of a Grizzly bear (even more so, since Ray is mutated) and the toughness of a honey badger. And since Ray is basically a biological weapon big gigantic proportions. Ray´s fellow scientist colleges decided to inform the government about his existence (with Ray´s approval). And that resulted in Ray being hired as a special forces soldier for the US government (Ray´s codename is “Ragnarock”).

With that said, I really hope that you like our mascot and the name which we have given him =) I would also like to point out that there will be a music video and a TGG Metal anthem song in the future. Other than that, we have plans on making a video game based on Raygnar as well (a cartoon comic or video-series might follow). So, keep your eyes and ears open people!
