I was just informed by squarewindow that there is a live and active petition for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 (the petition was created by Pat Buckles) and the goal would be to bring DOA Xtreme 3 to the whole world (not just Japan and Asia). And this is what the petition says:

“On the very day when a US player, MC Kwiggle, won the worldwide DOA Festival exhibition tournament in Japan, Team Ninja ironically announce that DOAX3 will be made, but will not be released outside Japan and Asia:

“We announced DOAX3 (Working Title) today, but it will be made exclusively for Japan and Asian market.”

Gamers outside of Japan and Asia want this game too. The DOA series has a huge following in the US and Europe. Please don’t abandon these players. Please release DOAX3 worldwide and not just in Japan and Asia.”

So if you want Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo to release Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 outside of Japan and Asia, then sign the DOAX3 petition!

Have the SJW army of the West scared Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo?

Even if you´re not a fan of DOA or the Dead or Alive Xtreme series, I still think that it´s safe to say that most of us (Gamers) find it to be rather odd that Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo “might” just release Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 in Japan and Asia. Especially due to the fact that the previous DOA Xtreme games got released worldwide. So that must have been a really heavy blow for the DOA Xtreme community, since they have been waiting for a sequel to Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 for over nine years time now (DOA Xtreme 2 got released back in 2006 to 360). And keep in mind that Dead or alive 5: Last Round has been released worldwide as well. So I’m quite curious to know why Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo made the decision to develop Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 exclusively for the Asian market. Was it because of the lack of interest for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 outside of Asia? (I highly doubt it), or was it simply because Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo wanted to avoid controversy and rants from the SJW movement? (funny enough, they haven´t bothered all that much about the nudity mode for DOA5:LR. So it would be really strange if they ranted over DOA Xtreme 3 in my opinion).

Time will tell I guess…Anyhow, the following things was revealed at the Dead or Alive festival live Stream two days ago (credit goes to comatose kitty):

– Marie Rose exclusive costume for attendees of the event
– Mad Hatter Honoka, Mermaid Tina, and Bat Lisa won designer challenge and will be apart of Halloween costume set
– Patch 1.04 is coming August 11th with new “Fireworks”, balance changes, and new bikini costumes (unsure if you have to pay for costumes or stage)
-New costumes based on different Falcom games
– Early next year DLC based on Tatsunoko characters
– Next Year Spring New stage and new character

Team Ninja also posted the following via the official Dead or Alive Facebook page:

“Thanks for attending and for watching DOA Festival today. MC Kwiggle (USA-Christie) won the exhibition match and Teru Rock (輝Rock Japan-Leifang) fought intensely with him. We announced DOAX3 (Working Title) today, but it will be made exclusively for Japan and Asian market. We announced many things today about new stage, patch update, Halloween costumes etc… We will keep you posted” – The official Dead or Alive Facebook page

And a NeoGAF user (raven777) translated Yosuke Hayashi´s (producer of DOA) comment about DOA Xtreme 3 during the DOA festival event:

“There is a game where female DOA characters are having a vacation at south island. Fans having been asking for that game. It is actually the number 1 request from the fans. I have been acting as if I was ignoring these requests. But we have actually begun developing that game, the latest installment. It’s still very early in development so we can’t give more details, but I want to announce today that we are making the game“. – raven777, a NewGaf user

So that means that Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is really going to happen, but just like I stated earlier. As for now DOA Xtreme 3 is an exclusive title for Japan and Asia only. However, even if DOA Xtreme 3 never gets released outside of Asia. One could just import the Japanese version (no formats have been nailed down at this time, but PS4, PS Vita and Xbox One is probably the formats that DOA Xtreme 3 will be released to).

With that said, what do you guys think? Have Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo gotten themselves some cold feet because of the SJW movement? Or is there another reason behind why DOA Xtreme 3 won´t be released outside of Asia?
