Next week will see the release of popular board game Galaxy of Trian on iOS! Starting June 30th, iOS users will be able to challenge friends, family and strangers for domination over the ever-changing galaxies of Trian. Galaxy of Trian will cost $6.99/€6.99/£4.99 and will feature multiple game modes for solo and multiplayer gameplay as players choose their race, explore the galaxy and gather resources. PC and Android versions are currently in the works, providing cross-platform functionalities in the future.

The Galaxy of Trian strategy board game was originally funded through Kickstarter, raising $130,396 over a thirty day crowdfunding campaign. In Grey Wizard Innovative’s digital incarnation, players select from one of four races and play against others as they stake claim over undiscovered areas of the galaxy.

In Galaxy of Trian players face a series of battles, competing for galactic supremacy. The single player game mode includes custom matches against AI and a full campaign mode. In multiplayer gamers can engage hot-seat mode, where players all take turns sharing one device. Online play is also available via server mode in which players battle against friends or use matchmaking to challenge other players of a similar level at random to see who is the best strategist!

Taking into consideration the deeply strategy-driven audience, additional planned features include a complex ranking system and match-making battles.
