Press release:
Duesseldorf/Germany, January 14, 2026 – Outdoor enthusiasts and hiking fans can look
forward to the start of the virtual national park season: Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator will be released in Early Access on Steam and the Epic Games Store on March 10, 2026!
Aspiring rangers can already get in the mood for their new outdoor workplace with the Release Date Reveal trailer.
Publisher astragon Entertainment and developer To-Go Games – part of GRIP Studios invite players to the beautiful Faremont National Park. Here, they slip into the uniform of a real US park ranger and take on the important task of protecting unique flora and fauna as well as extraordinary natural monuments and making them accessible to visitors.
As park rangers, it is their mission to keep hiking trails and campsites clean and maintained, remove obstacles such as fallen trees or branches, and to put up signs. They also interact with hikers, campers and other visitors to check tickets, camping permits, and fishing licenses. They answer questions about sights and wildlife, and guide hikers to their chosen trail. In addition to these everyday tasks, players also tackle various main missions, such as searching for a missing hiker or repairing a bridge damaged by a storm. Once completed, these missions unlock new park areas and their associated tasks, new visitor groups, and, of course, additional flora and fauna.
But above all, players become part of this nature experience. Beautiful valley views,
spectacular sequoia trees, and impressive mountains rising from the dense forests will delight any nature lover. And when a deer grazes peacefully on the riverbank at dawn…Faremont National Park becomes the most beautiful workplace in the world.
Ranger’s Path: National Park Simulator will launch in Early Access via Steam and the Epic Games Store with an already broad set of features, offering hours of engaging gameplay from day one. Throughout the Early Access phase, players can look forward to regular free content updates, with new tools, activities, and wildlife enhancements planned. The players community will play a crucial role in shaping the game’s further development through feedback and ideas.
