During today’s Triple-I Initiative showcase, video game publisher tinyBuild (Graveyard Keeper, Potion Craft, Kingmakers) and developer Fair Play Labs (Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl) announced “SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed“, launching on Steam later this year, as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch in 2026.

The sequel to one of the most beloved indie sensations of the last decade, this fast-paced platformer features totally new challenges and the same high-stakes action fans love – now with up to eight players joining the fray. Get your first look right now with the game’s debut trailer!

The ultimate competitive platformer is back! Outrun, outjump, and outsmart your rivals in cutthroat online and local races for up to eight players. The original award-winning SpeedRunners, developed by DoubleDutch Games, was released in 2016. It has since grown into a party game hit with a thriving community and over 10 million players since launch. Dubbed the ‘Mario Kart of 2D platformers,’ it still has an active tournament scene going strong today.
