Press release:
[June 26, 2026] — Alawar is excited to announce that Security 51, its atmospheric horror security guard simulator inspired by Papers, Please and SCP paranoia, will launch on Steam on July 27th. Step into the role of a security officer deep within Area 51, where your task is simple: let in those with access and stop those who don’t, even when everything looks “right” on the surface.
Your duties extend far beyond checking IDs. Monitor who enters and leaves the facility, follow ever-changing protocols designed to keep the unexplainable contained, and watch for anomalies that defy explanation. The rules may seem straightforward at first, but before long you’ll begin to question everyone standing at your checkpoint – and even the instructions you’ve been given.
Security 51 launches on Steam on July 27th. Wishlist the game now and prepare to report for duty.
