PARIS (June 25, 2026) – Abyssus, the roguelike 1-4 player co-op FPS with thousands of “Very Positive” reviews on Steam from developer DoubleMoose and publisher The Arcade Crew, today welcomes Brinehunters on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with its console debut for €24.99. These brand-new versions of the undersea adventure have surfaced alongside the free 1.3 update, available now across all platforms:

The 1.3 update brings a new god, areas, blessings, crossplay and more to the undersea odyssey. A rundown of all new content available with the new update is below:

A new God joins the lineup, introducing a host of new blessings for your abilities and weapons
New blessings are now available for previously existing Gods, too
A new playable area is now playable, including brand-new enemies and bosses
New room objectives are available to make sure that no two runs are ever the same
A revamped and expanded skill tree & streamlined matchmaking and quickplay options
Crossplay is available across PC, PlayStation and Xbox
New sea shanties, the best way to build team camaraderie

Alongside this free update comes the Brinerot Pack, featuring a new suit, helmet, emote, and portrait frame to customize your Brinehunter with for €3.99.

Today’s launch comes alongside a physical PlayStation 5 release for Abyssus, available at €34.99 on the Silver Lining website, including the Brinehunter, Brineguard, Brinefrost and Brinerot DLC packs alongside the base game

With a whopping 54 weapon mods, there’s plenty of variety to sink your fins into – no two loadouts feel the same.

No two runs are the same, either, as Abyssus was designed with a heavy focus on replayability: the game features strategic randomness with 250+ blessings & charms to amp your abilities, increase your damage and more. Abyssus also hosts over 140 forge mods, allowing you to enhance equipped abilities and weapons.
