The France-based indie games developer Kiro Team today announced with great pride and delight that they are going to launch a Kickstarter campaign for their upcoming 2D narrative platformer “Souno’s Curse” on October 1st, 2021.

Furthermore, Kiro Team has also just announced that they will release a playable demo for “Souno’s Curse via the 2021 edition of Steam Next Fest on October 1st (the event ends on October 7th).

What happens when you leave your old life behind to look for success? Would you regret abandoning your loved ones or your friends? And then, what happens when you come back to your old life — but nothing is like it used to be anymore? Souno’s Curse is a game that explores these questions — a 2D narrative platformer from Kiro Team, a short and emotional journey about the themes of friendship, guilt, and the importance of living in the moment.

ABOUT THE GAME

Discover a story-driven action platformer telling a story about regret and the value of living in the moment. Embark on a journey to a cursed cave, explore, discover hidden secrets and find your way. Your journey will not be easy, you will have to face strong enemies along the way, avoid obstacles, traps and slowly uncover the past, story and mysteries hidden behind Souno’s curse.

Kiro Team is a group of five developers from France, Canada, and the USA. Everyone in the team loves story-driven games, and we want to make the players feel a strong emotional connection with our game, conveying these emotions through environments, character design, music and gameplay.
