Press release:
Phoenix, AZ – 20 October, 2020.
Step out of reality and immerse yourself in the beautiful tranquil ocean with Beyond Blue’s new Photo Mode. In E-Line Media’s single-player narrative ocean adventure, Photo Mode allows you to freeze time and fine-tune the scene to make unique underwater screenshots that would otherwise be impossible during gameplay.

Players can control the camera (e.g. orbit, tilt, zoom, blur), color (e.g. hue, saturation, gamma), effects (e.g. vignette, sepia, chromatic aberration), and scene elements (e.g. toggle Mirai, marine snow, flashlight).

Beyond Blue is now available on Steam with -20% off for the discounted price of £12.39 / $16.00/ €13.43. The game allows players to explore the fascinating mysteries of the ocean’s depths through the eyes of Mirai, a deep-sea explorer and scientist.

Become a prize winning deep sea photographer in Beyond Blue’s Photo Mode competition for the chance to win a limited edition Artovision. To enter, share your Beyond Blue Photo Mode screenshot on Twitter/Instagram with hashtag #BeyondBluePhotoMode and follow @BeyondBlueGame.

Entries should be bursting with creativity, originality and be made using the Photo Mode tools. The competition opens at 10am PST on 20 October 2020 and ends at 10am PST 3 November 2020. Winners will be announced on 10 November 2020. Have fun!

About Beyond Blue
Set against the near-future backdrop of Earth’s oceans, Beyond Blue features the scientific support of real-world exploration and outreach initiative, OceanX, and embracing its minimally invasive exploration techniques.

It tells the story of a crew of scientists – led by oceanographers Mirai and André – who set out to test their “Ocean Sense Network,” which has the power to literally shine a light on the unexplored depths of the ocean as they unravel its endless mysteries.

Focusing on the Western Pacific Ocean amid a large multispecies gathering of cetaceans and other creatures, players will step into the shoes (and flippers) of Mirai, as they use technology to better understand the urgent threats facing these blue depths.

At the same time, Beyond Blue will feature never-before-seen footage licensed from BBC Studios’ Blue Planet II, expanding upon the game’s story and educating players about the social and emotional lives of these whales – the creatures with the biggest brains on the planet.
Beyond Blue Features:

An evocative narrative with full voice cast – Anna Akana (YouTube), Mira Furlan (Lost, Babylon 5), Hakeem Kae-Kazim (Black Sails, Hotel Rwanda), and Ally Maki (Toy Story 4)

Exploration and adventure within a realistic untouched world
Sixteen unique mini-documentaries called Ocean Insights that feature original footage and interviews with science’s leading ocean experts

Beyond Blue RRP £15.49 / $19.99 / €16.79 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Beyond Blue is also available through the Apple Arcade subscription service, playable across compatible iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Apple TV devices.
