Press release:
UTRECHT, THE NETHERLANDS – 1 OCTOBER 2026 – Ever spent longer perfecting your gear and theorycrafting a build in an RPG than actually fighting with it? Then Teamcrafter is made just for you.

Developed by Teamcraft Studios and published by Mystic Forge, Teamcrafter takes inspiration from the deep crafting, itemisation and buildcrafting found in games like Path of Exile, Last Epoch and Mortal Online 2….and asks a simple question: What if crafting the perfect build was the whole game?

Want to see what that’s like? You don’t have to wait: the demo is OUT NOW on Steam and will participate in Steam Next Fest October 2026!

In Teamcrafter, players aren’t the heroes rushing into battle. They’re the Craftist. The person responsible for making sure those heroes survive.

Explore beautiful pixel art biomes, gather resources and craft weapons, armour and equipment for a party of Adventurers. Experiment with gear, talents and passive effects to create powerful builds, then send your Adventurers into automated turn-based battles to discover whether all that theorycrafting actually worked.

For the passion of the craft

Rather than treating crafting as a secondary system supporting combat, Teamcrafter puts it- and build experimentation at the center of the experience.

And Teamcraft Studios knows a thing or two about players who take crafting seriously.

The team developed FFXIV Teamcraft, the community tool built to help Final Fantasy XIV players plan recipes, manage materials and optimise their builds.

Today, FFXIV Teamcraft attracts approximately 300,000 unique visitors during an average month and 2–3 million around major Final Fantasy XIV patches and expansions. Its community has created more than 8 million crafting lists encompassing over 40 million crafted items and pieces of gear.

“I spent thousands of hours in games that I ended up making builds for: organizing my crafting, gathering, and theorycrafting. FFXIV Teamcraft and Teamcrafter were both born as an expression of my passion for it.”
- Flavien Norman, CEO/Creative Director, Teamcraft Studios
