Press release:
Wiesbaden, Germany – [August 27th] – Warn your neighbors. Assemble Entertainment and solo developer Mateo Covic have announced that CAAAHR!, the new voice-based co-op racing game from the creator of Paddle Paddle Paddle, will launch on November 2, 2026 for PC via Steam. Just revealed at gamescom awesome indies showcase.
Two players control one car together. One player uses their voice to accelerate. The louder they are, the faster the car goes. The other player steers through dangerous tracks, jumps, traps and boosts. Communication helps. Screaming helps more.
Players can team up online, play locally or go solo if they feel like arguing with themselves. With online leaderboards, an in-game timer, optional shortcuts and one giant handcrafted level, CAAAHR! is built for friend groups, streamers, speedrunners and anyone who thinks shouting at a car sounds reasonable.
And yes, it launches before GTA 6. So if you need a chaotic driving game this year, this one comes with more screaming and probably fewer traffic laws.
The game will also be part of Assemble Entertainment’s gamescom 2026 line-up, where players can try the chaos live.
“After Paddle Paddle Paddle, I wanted to make another co-op game that is simple to understand and instantly turns into panic,” said Mateo Covic, solo developer of CAAAHR!.
“Using your voice as the gas pedal was too stupid not to try. I hope people have fun with it. I also hope their neighbors forgive me.”
