NACON and Big Ant Studios are today very proud and pleased to announce that “TIEBREAK: Official game of the ATP and WTA” will be released on 22 August 2024 for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam). The Nintendo Switch™ version will be launched at a later date.

Capturing all the intensity and technical nature of tennis, TIEBREAK aims to be the best representation of Tennis ever seen in a video game. In its definitive version, launching on 22 August 2024, TIEBREAK will have an unparalled player roster, including lifelike representations of over 120 ATP/WTA players headlined by Novak Djokovic, Coco Gauff, Jannik Sinner, Iga Swiatek, Carlos Alcaraz and rounding out the Big Three, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer! Players will be able to take to the court and play as, or against, the world’s best; compete in over 90 tournaments that follow the ATP and Hologic WTA Tour calendar, and play on more than 20 licensed and replicated tennis stadiums from across both Tours.

Including numerous single-player and multiplayer game modes, both offline and online, TIEBREAK also allows for the creation of tennis courts, custom tournaments and competitions with 16, 32, 64 or 128 players to experience a truly thrilling contest whether it be online or offline. The fan-favourite Academy is also included, allowing players to share all that they create with the community, including any custom competitions, tournaments, tennis courts, players and logos.

TIEBREAK also allows players to relive World No. 1 Novak Djokovic’s illustrious highlights in the Djokovic Slam Challenge. In a faithful adaptation to honour a legend of the sport, recreate and relive the real-life victories of his 17-year long career or rewrite history to have Novak win the tournaments in which he just fell short.

The game gets its fifth major update with Early Access 5, adding new content, gameplay improvement and the long-awaited Career Mode, where players can pick an existing professional to embark on their journey to greatness, taking them to the major ATP and WTA tournaments (including Nitto ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000, ATP 500, ATP 250, WTA 1000 series, WTA 500 & WTA 250), climbing to the top of the rankings.
TIEBREAK will continue to see improvements and gameplay enhancement, including roster expansion to more than 120 professional players, the arrival of the WTA Finals, additional game modes including Djokovic Slam Challenge and more content up until its release on 22 August 2024.

From the very start of TIEBREAK Early Access and thanks to feedback from the community, some further improvements have been implemented with this new major update, including new game mode, features, and content under official licence from the ATP and WTA. The TIEBREAK team look forward to continuing to work with the community to produce the biggest and best tennis game to date!

TIEBREAK is the official tennis game of the ATP and WTA and is currently available for early access on PC (Steam). Pending the final version, where players will be able to choose from 100 officially licensed players and compete in full ATP and WTA seasons, the early access version already offers a roster of 42 players, and the option to create your own players and courts, in addition to the 9 ATP Masters 1000 and 8 WTA 1000 courts already available: plus, you can play online with your friends. Further enhancements and gameplay improvements will continue to be added, until the launch 22 August 2024 on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One. The Nintendo Switch™ version will be launched at a later date.
