The indie games developer Alex Gerassimov are today very happy and thrilled to announce that his heartfelt narrative adventure game “Wandering Duelist“, is coming to PC via Steam and itch.io on November 2nd, 2022, for £9.99.

“Wandering Duelist” follows the story of a couple falling in love after a chance meeting in the run up to an art competition.

This meet-cute is the catalyst for the unpredictable events of Wandering Duelist, which culminate with two men caught in a duel. This emotional tale is told against the backdrop of a diorama-like world filled to the brim with colourful architecture, dynamic hazards, and unique characters that bring the story to life. It’s up to you which path the protagonist takes, but choose carefully, as the outcome will change everything.

As the story unfolds, you’ll navigate through the world, narrowly avoiding oncoming traffic and the hustle and bustle of city life. Don’t worry, as you’ll naturally find your rhythm as you deliver packages and other items throughout the city. Wandering Duelist is about mastering the art of movement and finding the best routes and shortcuts.

Wandering Duelist is a solo effort by developer Alex Gerissimov, who is building the story, world and characters around his own experiences.

“I approached Wandering Duelist as an art project. In this game, I wanted to reflect on youth and the deeds and moments that shape our personality. Although we shouldn’t dwell on this period excessively, we should still remember that it makes us who we are,” said Alex Gerassimov, Lead Developer, Wondering Duelist.
