The Lanciano-based (Italy) indie games developer Chestnut Games today announced with great joy and excitement that their thrilling puzzle-platformer/adventure game “One Many Nobody“, is now available for PC via Steam.

“ONE MANY NOBODY” is a darkly humorous puzzle platformer where cloning is a key mechanic for success. Players will have to use cloning technology to replicate themselves and solve puzzles to progress.

The world of “ONE MANY NOBODY” is experiencing an unprecedented energy crisis, and a dark solution has been identified thanks to advances in cloning technology. Science has made it possible to generate healthy new bodies through cloning to use as a source of power. Players begin their journey as a clone that has managed to break free from its high-tech facility cell, and must now escape captivity, but it will quickly become clear that this may not necessarily be the clone that gets to escape to freedom.

Players will embark on a head-scratching puzzle-platforming escapade that challenges them to think from multiple perspectives. Puzzles will become increasingly challenging as the story progresses, forcing players to think from multiple perspectives to find the solution and progress! “ONE MANY NOBODY” uses cloning to challenge players with creative puzzles that when solved generate as much dopamine as a clone does energy!

The full game features over 100 puzzles as players explore a dark world brought to life through lovingly animated pixelart.

“ONE MANY NOBODY” takes the dark exploitative factory setting and puzzle-platforming of Abe’s Odyssey, and mixes it with the dark charm and dry wit of Portal to create an entirely unique world that leaves players pondering big questions like what life means when it can be replicated? If you sacrifice yourself to free yourself, were you really successful? And why do all the clones have such a fascination with their hair?
