Milan, Italy — 18 March 2026 — Independent studio We Are Muesli today releases In Their Shoes, an A MAZE.-nominated mumblecore narrative game, on Steam. To celebrate the launch, the studio has also unveiled a new trailer showcasing glimpses of the game’s 49 immersive “Moments.”

n Their Shoes invites players to step into seven interconnected lives, exploring the choices, reflections, and pivotal interactions that shape each character’s story. By collecting biographical keywords and reconstructing the overarching timeline, players uncover new narrative connections, unlock additional inner thoughts, and access alternative dialogue options, encouraging them to revisit Moments and explore different outcomes.

Through intimate, character-driven storytelling, In Their Shoes explores identity and relationships, gently questioning assumptions around gender, culture, and lifestyle. It focuses on the small, everyday choices that quietly shape who we are, from reconnecting with a friend to navigating tense conversations at work or between parents after a playground incident.

In Their Shoes is out now on Steam for Windows PC and Mac at $12.99 / €11.99 / £10.99 (full price), with a launch discount for a limited time.

We Are Muesli is an independent and unconventional game development studio founded in 2013 and based in Milan, Italy.
