The Rome-based (Italy) indie games publisher and developer IndieGala are today very proud and happy to announce that their first-person open-world survival horror game “Vorax”, is now available for PC via Steam Early Access.

A new trailer will be provided upon launch, together with a road map.

VORAX is a captivating game set on a Mediterranean island overrun by a deadly pathogen, where you must scavenge, craft, and build shelters to survive while unraveling the island’s dark secrets, facing unpredictable foes, and navigating diverse environments with realistic survival mechanics.

With a dynamic day-night cycle and weather system, your strategic decisions will determine your fate against relentless horrors as you battle the psychological and physical challenges of isolation.

The full version of the game will include a complete main story, several additional quests, organic narrative story progression, and new locations to explore within a 10-square-kilometer map and over 12 hours of gameplay time.

Planned features include plant based enemies, kamikaze drones, flamethrower and fire-spreading mechanics, intense light sources to stun enemies, new vehicles with a focus on military types, new secondary bosses, crafting options, monsters, puzzles, and NPCs, all of which will be refined based on player feedback during the Early Access phase.
