Press release:
Mendoza, Argentina. — Scubalight Studios today announced that Don’t Kill Rumble, its physics-based party brawler, launches on Steam on Thursday, October 29, 2026, priced at €7.99, with a 10% discount for the first eleven days.
Don’t Kill Rumble is a online King of the Hill brawler for up to six players where physics decides almost everything. You punch, dash and betray your way across a hill full of traps, with two artifacts equipped before each match and charged by collecting souls, and whoever holds the cup longest wins. Matches run between five and seven minutes, and the fun isn’t in winning cleanly: falling doesn’t eliminate you, so every fall is just the start of climbing back while your rival keeps scoring.
The game belongs to that family of cheap, loud, play-with-your-friends titles that has defined 2026: the family of Among Us and of this summer’s phenomenon, Meccha Chameleon. It shares the essentials — rules you understand in ten seconds, short matches and moments that beg to be clipped — and differs in everything else: there’s no deception and no hiding here, just six people who know each other far too well, fighting.
“We’ve spent months watching matches between people who’d never met end in laughter. That’s the game we wanted to make: one where losing is as much fun as winning.” – Leandro Agostino · Creative Director, Scubalight Studios.
Behind it is Scubalight Studios, an independent studio founded in 2017 in Mendoza, Argentina, which built the game in Unreal Engine 5 and is launching it alongside DOJO System.
Features:
Up to six players fighting over the same hill.
Twenty artifacts that change how you attack, escape and betray.
Five arenas full of traps that turn a winning position into a fall.
Five-to-seven-minute matches and seventy-five unlockables.
