Press release:
Munich, June 25, 2026 – Starting today, CobraTekku Games and PixelRats are letting players step into the shoes of Kiyo and free the dictatorial city of Rabbithole City from evil rabbits. The stealth adventure KIYO – Bunny Tyranny is now available on Steam for PC for $13.49 and on Nintendo Switch for $14.99.
The indie stealth adventure KIYO – Bunny Tyranny presents a fascinating dystopia in which animals encounter a full-blown technological nightmare. Under the cold glow of omnipresent neon signs, the smartphone-addicted rabbits of BunnyCorp have established a totalitarian regime. An ominous owl draws the player into the game, sending them as Kiyo the cat into an unequal battle against the fluffy oppressors.
In terms of gameplay, the title relies on a challenging blend of stealth and platforming. On velvet paws, the goal is to infiltrate the heavily guarded zones of Rabbithole City. To silently neutralize the rabbit plague, Kiyo relies on a bow and arrow as well as clever diversionary tactics, such as tactical carrots. The stealth sequences in the semi-open city are complemented by numerous neon-colored details, Easter eggs, and a vibrant world. The game was developed using PixelRats’ proprietary engine, which enables full ray tracing in a 2D pixel art style. Players can thus experience the adventure in Neon with realistic lighting and shadows.
Key Features
The quietest paws in the world – Kiyo demonstrates with astonishing precision why the Duden dictionary defines “stealth” using the word “cat.” In this 2D stealth adventure, Kiyo moves through the shadows of Rabbit Hole City to infiltrate the subjugated city unseen. Who could do this better than the cunning ex-thief?
Hide, fight, and sabotage – Due to the sheer overwhelming numbers of the rabbits, direct combat isn’t always the right approach for Kiyo. That’s why it’s important to weigh when it’s time for an ambush. Distracting carrots can often be the key to the solution.
Unique Neon Vibe – The world of KIYO – Bunny Tyranny is a noir-inspired world full of neon. Inspired by East Asian metropolises, you’ll find unique pixel art in every corner of the game. Rabbit Hole City boasts a one-of-a-kind soundtrack and is packed with original synthwave music.
Regular updates on KIYO – Bunny Tyranny are available on the CTG channels on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and Facebook.
