The Bratislava-based (Slovakia) indie games developer Doublequote Studio today announced with great happiness and excitement that their story-driven cyberpunk rpg “Heistgeist“, is now available for pc via Steam.

HeistGeist is an action-packed game set in a fictional Central Europe of the 2040s, where you play as Alexandra, a skilled thief on the run after a botched heist. Assemble a team of specialists to plan high-stakes missions, adapting to unexpected twists and outsmarting corporate foes where every choice impacts the outcome.

Engage in tactical card-based battles against guards and security systems, customizing your character through a strategic deck-building system that allows you to enhance effects with combo sequences, level up cards for upgrades, and tailor abilities to specific character builds for deep, adaptable gameplay.

The game’s hacking system reimagines cyberspace as card-based puzzles where you deploy programs and viruses to infiltrate secure systems. With fully voiced characters, intricate storytelling, and immersive cyberpunk settings, HeistGeist offers a strategic RPG experience in a richly crafted world.

Heists – Pull off high-stakes heists in which every choice matters.

Story – Follow an original cyberpunk story full of twists and intrigue, set in an unusual setting in Central Europe, with a fully voiced cast of characters.

Combat – Fight your enemies in card-based battles where sequencing and powerful combinations are the key to your success.

RPG – Build your character by constructing a deck of cards that suits your playstyle and by augmenting your character through the installation of cyberware that changes your attributes.

Hacking – Use cyberspace to hack into secure servers in a unique card-based puzzles where you run programs and install viruses in order to get to server at the end of the grid.

About Doublequote Studio
Doublequote Studio is an independent studio based in Bratislava, Slovakia. Founded in May 2014 by two brothers – Ivan and Martin Kozmon – and currently consists of four team members. The studio’s main focus is to create visually distinct game experiences, utilizing the team’s strengths in 2D graphic design and illustration combined with a compelling narrative.

The Studio has earned multiple Slovak Game Awards for Blood Will Be Spilled, including Best Debuting Game, Best PC/Console Game, Best Visual Design. The studio has also been awarded for its Visual Art and nominated for the Best Narrative at Central and Eastern European Game Awards.
