Today, Stunlock Studios published the full gameplay trailer for “Secrets of Gloomrot,” the highly anticipated first major content update, scheduled for release for V Rising’s one year anniversary on May 17th.

The “Secrets of Gloomrot” adds a host of new content for players: improved castle building, expanded combat mechanics, and significant changes to the world map which includes the biome of Gloomrot.

Welcome to Gloomrot! As one of the game’s larger regions, it offers an extensive new area to explore where players will fight against mutated experiments and mechanical wonders spawned from the twisted imaginations of the Trancendum. Players will hunt the blood of the brilliantly insane to harness the power of lightning and enter a new age of technology.

In addition to the new biome, the update includes a long list of improvements and new content. Players can construct multiple castle floors, claim castle territories and customize their domains in new ways.

Combat is improved and has become more diverse with the addition of new weapon types and a new spell school. On top of that, the jewel system allows players to modify their spells to their liking. The world of Vardoran has been revamped, offering players new points of interest to visit, visual updates, new items, and enemy types. Players will also encounter 13 additional bosses and 30 new enemy types. Get ready to experience a thrilling new adventure in the world of V Rising!
