Join the Investigation Team or Play the Nightmarish Creature in Milkstone Studios’ Latest Installment of its Horror Franchise this Halloween.

ASTURIAS, SPAIN – October 21, 2016 – Independent developer Milkstone Studios today announced that their asymmetrical horror game White Noise 2 will launch on Steam Early Access on October 27, just in time for Halloween, for PC, Mac and Linux. The sequel to the goosebump-inducing White Noise and White Noise Online offers players an online first-person 4vs1 asymmetric horror experience, as they work together in a team to investigate the strange activities within two nightmarish London locations – St. John’s Hospital and Norwood Priory. Alternatively, players can select to play the creature and wreak havoc by stalking and hunting the team during their investigations into the unknown.

“Disorientation is a big part of the experience and we’ve taken everything we’ve learned and added more content and playability”, said Alejandro González,CEO of Milkstone Studios. “Launching on Steam Early Access, initially with two massive sanity-busting abandoned locations to explore, we are sure that fans of the genre will have a blast scaring the crap out of one another!”

White Noise 2 is an asymmetrical 4v1 horror game in which players cooperate as a team of investigators, or play the role of the creature that is hunting them. As an investigator, players explore the area and cooperate with their partners to find eight hidden tapes. They’ll have to keep their sanity and maintain flashlight batteries to avoid getting lost and becoming easy prey for the creature. As the creature, players must stalk their prey and hunt them without being seen. Easily stunned by the bright flashlights, the creature will pick off investigators one by one with the help of its Idols and unholy powers to prevent them from finding the eight tapes before devouring them.

Death doesn’t mean game over either, players can rise as a ghost and take advantage of their enhanced exploration skills to help the remaining investigators in their search. Featuring various unlockables in the form of new characters, creatures and flashlights, each character has different specializations and skills, allowing players to choose a setup that fits their playstyle. At the end of each game, players are presented with the signature White Noise replay screen, which shows where each player went and what they did.

Launching on Early Access with two play modes (online and solo play) and the first two massive game locations – St. John’s Hospital, an abandoned hospital and the disorientating Norwood Priory, White Noise 2 will be available on Steam Early Access for PC, Mac and Linux on October 27th for €7.99, £5.59, $7.99.
