In Tales of the Mushroom Forest’s 18+ erotic visual novel “Beyond two worlds” you (the player) gets adopted into a new family.
So once the game starts you are taken to meet your new siblings, some of which like you and some don’t. On top of this, your new mother has taken an instant dislike to you for some reason.
Once you’ve introduced yourself to your new family, you then get to enroll in a University (where you actually have to take a near-nonsensical exam), and register with the local doctor.

“Beyond two worlds” graphics aren’t all that bad, but there is certainly room for improvement with no doubt.
Finally, after meeting a strange shop owner, you go back to your room and… that’s it.
As a prologue, “Beyond two worlds” is a certainly a good introduction to what could be an interesting story (especially as it looks like there could well be more going on that it appears).

People can say and think what they want about “Beyond two worlds”, but the game’s dialogs and characters can be pretty funny at times.
As for “Beyond two worlds” visuals. Well, graphically, things are a bit basic at the moment. I mean, sure, the graphics isn’t all that bad. However, Tales of the Mushroom Forest sure needs to work more on the game’s detail and definition.

The lewd content is rather spot on in “Beyond two worlds”. However, it would be nice to see even more of that content in the full version of the game.
Furthermore, the real drawback at the moment (and is something that will certainly need to be looked at), is the English used…Because at the moment the game’s English is only just understandable.

The game’s characters, story and music are rather well-made. So it’s going to be very interesting to see what the final version of “Beyond two worlds” will have to offer.
So with that fresh in mind, it will certainly be interesting to see how all of this will progress over time. Because once the language problem has been sorted out, there is an interesting story to be found.

“Beyond two worlds” weakest card is with no doubt it’s poor in-game English dialogs and whatnot, because a lot of the English is poorly written or just broken…
However, the only problem is that there is quite a bit of competition in this area already. So “Beyond Two Worlds” has to be improved quite a bit before it’s full release for the game to have a chance to stand out from the crowd.
In other words, only time will tell how bad (or good) the full version of “Beyond Two Worlds” will be. As for here and now though, the prologue is most definitely worth checking out if you’re into 18+ erotic visual novels (especially if you don’t have any other lewd visual novel titles to play at the moment).
Pros:
+ Could be an interesting take on family “relationships”
+ Music is fine
+ The game’s characters are rather well-made
+ Graphics are okay at the moment, but will need a lot of work
+ The lewd content is pretty spot on
Cons:
– At the moment, the English is… bad…
Gameplay: 3/5
Graphics: 3/5
Sound and music: 3/5
Controls: 3/5
Replay value: 3/5
Story: 3/5

Verdict: 3/5
If the effort put into the prologue can be maintained, then “Beyond Two Worlds” could well become an interesting adult visual novel, especially once the graphics and dialogue have been improved.
