In case you missed it (or didn’t know it), ID Software’s old-school FPS game “Doom” turned 24-years old the other day (the original “Doom” was released on the 10th of December back in 1993). Yes, that’s right, because it’s been 24 years since the game originally launched for PC. I know that it might be hard to grasp that it’s been such a long time ago since “Doom” brought hell to our computers for the very first time, but it’s as true as it’s said. In the matter of fact, Doom’s official Twitter account had this to say about the matter (the tweet was made last night):
“Happy birthday to #DOOM… hey that’s us! From floppies to carts and everything in between, it’s been one Hell of a ride. Thank you all for your support!” – Doom’s official Twitter account
So tons of congratulations to ID and a very happy 24th birthday to “Doom”! (may the game be around for another 24 years) And with that said, feel free to share your “Doom” memories with us in the comment section down below =)
