“Love and Sex : Second base” is a semi-realistic visual novel/dating simulator, where a couple of young girls move into your home after your previous tenants move out (what a lucky guy he is).
In total, there are nine different babes for you to date and have “fun” with in “Love and Sex: Second base”.
Anyways, I think you get the idea. So let’s move on to the actual game itself shall we? Well, as I was saying. “Love and Sex” takes place over the course of several months. So what will happen to your relationship with them?
Sasha got pretty angry at me when I caught her without any clothes on in the bathroom.
The game can be seen to be split between a visual novel and a dating simulator. So after the short introduction to introduce the girls, you are then left to your own devices in the main game.
A main game where you can move between rooms in your house, go into the city, park (or pub), and perhaps even go to work (to earn money).
One of the strongest cards that “Love and Sex” has is with no doubt it’s gallery of sexy babes.
And you do so all while having to deal with both of the two girls at home (each of whom has their own lives and follow their own timetable) and your work colleagues, paying rent, cleaning and buying things.
Besides sexy babes, you also have to deal with all sorts of dodgy people (such as the shady guy that you can see in this picture, for example).
Moving to a different location can sometimes depend on the time of day – you can’t go to work late at night, for example, and the protagonist will complain that the park is scary at that time too.
It’s also possible you’ll meet some unsavory characters too, as well as other characters going about their business.
The graphics and visuals are very nice in “Love and Sex: Second base” *cough cough*
The protagonist’s house is fairly large and features three bedrooms, a pool, bathroom (which always seems to be hogged by the females in the morning), kitchen, sitting room and a hall.
There are many sights to visit and things to buy – if you have the money.
Furthermore, in various places, you can interact with the girls to try and become friendlier with them, by either asking for their date of birth and phone number, or you can just eat breakfast, dinner or watch TV with them.
If you’re into thick babes, then you should find a liking to Aletta with no doubt.
As good as that might sound though, you really need to keep an eye on your welfare…And that includes everything from hunger, thirst, cleanliness, money and not doing chores do not create a good working (or home) life.
The lewd content is on point, but I just wish that there would have been more lewd content than it is.
In other words, regular visits to the bathroom are needed (when not being hogged), cooking and shopping for clothes and entertainment (both for personal and non-personal use) are needed as well, which brings you back to needing to work for money.
The erotic scenes are uncensored in “Love and Sex”, and that’s a huge plus in my book.
Even so, nothing much happens if you don’t eat or shower – besides the fact that your character will continually complain about being hungry (or smelling pretty bad), the only thing that seems to happen is a lack of choices with regards to your room-mates.
There are a handful of random events to be had in “Love and Sex: Second base”.
So in overall, “Love and Sex: Second base” is more of a life simulator than a standard visual novel…And as such it’s of a much slower pace than usual, which means it could take a long time to get anywhere with any of the girls that you come across.
When it comes to downsides and cons in “Love and Sex: Second base”, well, it’s a big bummer that the music is really bad and the game’s graphics aren’t animated at all.
This also means you need to work a lot harder as well, and more thought needs to be given to your actions. Nevertheless, I still find “Love and Sex: Second base” to be a rather fun erotic dating sim/visual novel.
So if you don’t mind the game’s rather slow pace, then you might want to give “Love and Sex: Second base” a try.

+ Lots to do and sights to visit, along with a pretty large list of things that can be bought
+ Random events
+ Uncensored lewd content
Cons:
– Might be too much for those wanting to get straight to the “interesting” parts
– Graphics aren’t animated
– A few strange oddities (sleep appearing in the menu twice, for example) and the odd spelling mistake
– Backgrounds could be better
– Music is pretty awful
– Few spelling mistakes and value displaying problems
– There is no way of knowing how well you are doing

“Love & Sex : Second Base” is a slow-burning life simulator. So the game will with no doubt interest those who like to take things slowly or prefer more casual games. Howeever, for those who prefer more action, there may not be enough excitement here to keep their attention.
