Microsoft has made headlines with Windows 10. Knowing that it will be one of the most anticipated OS release dates of this generation, they’ve stepped up to the plate job a major way.

There’s good news and bad news for fans of the OS especially for those who want the installation on day one without delay.

The good news is Microsoft will be offering support and free installation for users of Windows 7 and above for the first year.

They will also offer support packs, and updates to their service for the durality of your devices life. Unfortunately the same will not be said for Windows XP users as Microsoft will not allow a free upgrade for this OS.

Essentially consumers will have a choice: pay to update their OS or switch to a variation such as Opera.

Project Spartan with Cortana

Master Chief isn’t the only one with Cortana as his ally. Now you can have the power of his intuitive A.I. in the palm of your hands.

Just like it’s predecessor Cortana cab search for pictures, files, and programs that you need.

Project Spartan is going to replace Internet Explorer as the default browser in hopes to Inspire a faster browsing experience complete with bing, and cortana integration.

With a note taking mode that allows you to use the stylus or your finger on the screen Spartan is practically selling itself.

Mobile devices

Concerning mobile devices, Microsoft has assured users that Windows 10 will meet and exceed expectations. Phones will have sync abilities between themselves, PC, and skype–which will be integrated Into the message application.

Unfortunately well have to wait until February to see what Windows 10 will do with mobile phones and tablets as that will be the major reveal date.

There is so much we have to look forward to with Windows 10. With no release date in sight and still more features to be reported upon from the beta we can guarantee consumers will be elated with the final product.

Tell us how you feel about Windows 10, and if you’ll upgrade to it!
