Last night i recorded my very first video for Mi-Clos Studio´s Adventure/RPG/Strategy space game “Out There: Omega Edition“. And i have to say that i enjoyed it quite a bit.
But then again, i just happen to like sci-fi, exploration, roguelike and resource management games. And all of this exists in “Out There” (as gameplay elements).
And one of the most important elements of the game, is the part that concerns “resource management”. Because in “Out there”, you play as an astronaut that tries to find his way home back to Earth (and his a long, long way from home).
And that´s easier said than done. Do to the fact that there´s litterly millions of things that could kill you in “Out there”.

There´s a lot of things that could kill you in “Out there: Omega Edition”. In a way, it´s like “Sierra´sudden death syndrome”. But with a bigger variation.
You ship can break down, you can run out of fuel, your oxygen level might drop down to zero. Or, you might just get eaten alive by some kind of mutated alien flower.
And everything you do in “Out there” has consequences (good or bad). And everything costs recourses as well (when you travel, drill for recourses and so on).
So think BEFORE you act. Then you got the “random encounters” thing as well. Where there is a 50/50 good or bad outcome. So “Out there” is just as much about skills as luck.
It diden´t take me all that long to realize that the game looks bloody great though (just look at the graphics and all that awesome artworks!).
Even so, I have to play “Out there” more before i review the game though. As there´s quite a lot to experience in “Out there”. So for now, please enjoy our gameplay video for the game =)
And oh! You can buy “Out There: Omega Edition” via Steam for 8,99 Euro at the moment.
