Press release:
Development studio Chibig, together with Talpa Games and Undercoders, today confirmed with great pride and thrill that their action-packed adventure “Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara” is coming to PC (via Steam) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) in 2023.

Following the success of “Summer in Mara”, this tropical spin-off adventure will take us to a new Mara archipelago on PC (Steam) and consoles.

In addition, Tesura Games has announced a new collaboration with Chibig to bring Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara to physical format for consoles, with two editions: a standard version and a collector’s edition with exclusive elements.

The adventures of Koa and Napopo continue in a new region of Mara where they will have to reclaim a treasure stolen by a group of mischievous pirates. A journey through colorful and action-packed scenarios from start to finish where we will meet again old friends and also meet new characters.

The digital release will be followed by the physical edition of Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara, as Tesura Games has just announced at its Tesura Games Connect event. The two teams collaborate again after the Summer in Mara and the Ankora: Lost Days pack together with Deiland: Pocket Planet with an edition that promises to surprise and transmit the essence of the game perfectly.

Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara had a warm reception at the Steam Next Fest last June, something that has served to gather feedback from players and reinforce the strengths of the game, as well as to show the community what this new adventure has in store for them at the beginning of the year.

About Chibig
Chibig makes cozy and cute games for everyone, combining relaxing adventures settled in fantastical worlds full of wonder. Chibig started its universe in 2018 with Deiland, and kept expanding with Summer in Mara in 2020. More charming and compelling tales are about to be discovered with the upcoming projects of the studio: Ankora: Lost Days, Koa and the Five Pirates of Mara, Mika and the Witch’s Mountain and Elusive People.
