The indie games developer Luden.io (Creators of the acclaimed puzzle game about machine learning “while True:learn()”) and video games publisher Nival are today very happy and pleased to announce that their factory automation game “Learning Factory” is coming to PC via Steam on February 18th, 2021.

Cats are captivating and mysterious by nature — and if you’ve always dreamed of understanding them, Luden.io has great news for you: the factory automation game Learning Factory releases on Steam Early Access on February 18th for €11.99/$14.99 (with a release discount of a 10% off)! And what does that have to do with your cats? In Learning Factory, you have to design and build increasingly big and complex factories to make goods for cats, and analyze their data with machine learning models until you understand what those mesmerizing creatures truly are up to! Learning Factory free Alpha is currently available on Steam, but will be shut down on February 4th; you can also find a link in the official Discord server of the studio.

Just like their previous game, the acclaimed puzzle game about machine learning while True:learn, Learning Factory is backed by specialists in the subject, and implements real-world machine learning models. Playing the game will also show you how big data is collected and processed.

Oh, does it sound like going a bit too far just for understanding what your cat means when it is kicking stuff off the table, or looking at random corners of the room and waking you up in the middle of the night for no discernible reason? ABOUT LEARNING FACTORY

Learning Factory is a factory automation game where you have to build an increasingly bigger and complex factory, named KOTOVOD and located on Mars, to make goods for cats.

Then you get data about sales analyzing what cats liked or disliked, and use this data with machine learning models to optimize prices and make sure you’re selling what cats really long for.

Backed by actual specialists in the matter and using real-world machine learning models, the game aims also at teaching how big data is collected and processed in machine learning. You will be learning about two of the most relevant technologies of our time while you play a super fun strategy game — if you want to, that is; because at its true heart it’s above all a quirkily engaging factory automation game with lots of cats in it!
