The US-based indie games publisher Armor Games Studio and Canada-based indie games developer Alblune, are today very happy and excited to announce that their highly anticipated wholesome adventure game “The Spirit and the Mouse”, is coming to PC (via Steam) and the Nintendo Switch (via the Nintendo Eshop) on September 26th, 2022.

Fans of cozy games are sure to love The Spirit and the Mouse. After being bound together by fate, Lila the mouse and Lumion the Spirit guardian must work together to bring light back to the residents of Sainte-et-Claire. In order to do so, Lila must use her newfound electrical powers to placate excitable spirits called Kibblins by solving character-driven puzzles across this quaint French village.

The Spirit and the Mouse is a low-stress experience with lush environments and a soothing piano-driven soundtrack. This debut title by Montreal developer Alblune is sure to charm audiences of all ages with its heartwarming narrative, secrets to discover across Sainte-et-Claire, and a dedicated squeak button

Lucie Lescuyer and Alexandre Stroukoff, the two developers of Alblune, said:

The Spirit and the Mouse releases on PC via Steam, Epic, GOG, and itch.io as well as Nintendo Switch on September 26 at a price of $19.99 USD.

After a shocking thunderstorm brings them together, unlikely allies Lila the mouse and Lumion the Spirit guardian must work in tandem to restore balance to their quaint village. Thankfully, Lila has her big heart and electrifying new powers to aid her on this journey. Guide her through a heartwarming adventure across Sainte-et-Claire to befriend playful electric spirits called Kibblins and illuminate this village once more.

The Spirit and the Mouse is a narrative-focused adventure game that has you searching every nook and cranny of this world to complete objectives and collect items to aid you in your humble quest to assist those in need.

Listen to the villagers’ woes, then find the Kibblins who are running amok in order to fix the village’s newfound electricity problems. By doing good and working together with these lively spirits, Lila can then put Lumion back in the sky where he belongs!
