To some people old school games are nothing more than pure nostalgia. But for others it´s all about pure joy. I´m the kind of person that get´s both nostalgia and entertainment kicks from old school games.

Because i see it like this. Just because a game is old, doesn´t make it worthless (in terms of outdated graphics and so on). Simply because some old games are both timeless and ageless.

Like “Zelda: A Link to The Past”, “Super Metroid“, “Blade Runner” and “Deus Ex 1” for example. And many old games has been modded to live up to todays standards (like “Black Mesa” for example, which is a total remake of “Half-Life 1”).

Well, you get my point.

seep universe

The “SEEP” trailer sure gave me a lot of old school vibes for sure.

So please allow me to present to you Ludomedia´s upcoming action/platform game “SEEP Universe”. A game that´s been heavily inspired by the 8-16 bit´s era.

And i think that would be a rather accurate way to describe the game (i base statement on the looks of the indiegogo trailer). But will that be enough to impress people?

Time will tell. Here´s the facts though. “SEEP Universe” needs to collect $1,500 on indiegogo within 55 days from now. So we wish them the best of luck!

About SEEP Universe:
SEEP Universe is an action-platform game for the PC inspired by the 8-16 bit era created by SEEP. Originally we released SEEP World, a free indie fan game inspired by 8 bit games. After achieving a good response with that, we decided to make a really professional game with a similar concept to create a new brand.

So SEEP Universe is a 100% original game with a new script (total rewrite with many features), a new collision system, two characters in one, 6 buttons (jump, run, punch attack, power up and change character), puzzle element and exclusive enemies, story and power up.
