I don´t know if you guys read the Edge magazine. But i´ve been reading Edge for quite sometime now. anyhow, in the latest issue of Edge (#279, May) the whole front cover is dedicated to Nintendo´s upcoming Wii U multiplayer shooter “Splatoon”.

Which would be one of the most anticipated and most wanted Wii titles to date. So the hype is on for sure, as “Splatoon” is set for a release on the 21st of May.

And these are the words that cover the front of Edge´s “Splatoon” cover:

“Splatoon. How Nintendo is reinventing the multiplayer shooter” – Edge, #279 May 2015

Splatoon will be released both digitally and in retail stores on the 29th of May.

So i sure hope that “Splatoon” will be able to live up to those words. But so far i´m really impressed by the game. And the “Battle Dojo” and “Ranked Battle” modes seems to be really fun to play (you can watch those game modes in action in the trailer further down the page).

The “Splatoon” amiibo´s will be available on the release day of the game in May.

And the amiibo´s got my really curious as well. Sadly enough though, i don´t own a Wii U at this time. But for those who do. You will be able to buy “Splatoon” on May 21st for $59,99 via the Nintendo store.
