At first, I thought that this was some kind of a sick joke, but no. It´s all true. As someone thought that it would be a brilliant idea to DDos attack the TI5 event. I wouldn’t have heard about this if it hadn’t been for Rod Breslau (Leading Competitive Gaming and eSports worldwide), because Rob tweeted out the following just now:

This is of course messed up beyond belief. But at the same time, one would think that Valve had everything sorted out? As there are millions of dollars on the line in the TI5 tournament. Then again, it´s really hard to protect yourself 100% from DDos attacks. Personally, I really hope that Valve will be able to track down those who DDos Attacked the TI5 event. As they have runied all the fun for everyone.
