It´s a very serious matter to accuse anyone for doing criminal activities (no matter it´s nature). And normally i don´t listen, or care about rumors.
But due to the fact that i´m a big fan of both “Angry Joe” and “Boogie2988“, i just couldn´t let this one slip me by. I don´t know if you guy´s have already heard about this.
But earlier today i noticed that there was quite a lot of ranting on Angry Joe´s and Boogie´s “AngryJoe & Boogie Play Farcry4! Co-op Impressions” video. At first, i just thought “It´s no big deal, it´s just haters and trolls”.
But this time the ranting involved Far Cry 4 bribe speculations.
Yes, you guess it. Some “people” believe that Ubisoft paid Angry Joe and Boogie2988 a nice sum of money to turn the blind eye to any of the flaws in Far Cry 4 (which some fans refer to as “Far Cry 3.5”).
As far as i know, there´s no evidence to back these bribe accusations up.
But even though Joe (and Boogie) released that video back in October, people are still talking about the alleged Far Cry 4 bribes. And to my knowledge, this is something that either Angry Joe or Boogie2988, has made any statements (or comments) about.
And to be honest, it sounds really far-fetched. Because i don´t think that Joe (nor Boogie) would risk losing a lot of fans (and their reputation) for some fast cash. I mean, people are not stupid. They would see that through.
However, Ubisoft do have a back record of “compensating” people for giveing their games positive reviews in the past.
So, what do you think? Are Angry Joe and Boogie2988 inocent? Or are they guilty as charged?
