This sure came out of nowhere. Because everyone thought that Bethesda would unveil Fallout 4 by now. But to the fans big dissatisfaction, that was not the case.
And as you might imagine, the rants has already started. So i find this to be rather sarcastic due to the fact that the game is actually called “Battlecry” (i was referring to the rants/battle cries of Fallout fans all over the world).
But is BattleCry Studios (it´s a for PC-only title at this time) 32-player online team action game really all that bad?
Sure, it´s not Fallout 4. But i really like the fact that the world of Battlecry has been created (and shaped) by Viktor Antonov (Half-Life 2, Dishonored), because i´m a huge fan of his.
And i really like the thought of having Viktor working on a game such as Battlecry.
But we have to wait until 2015 to find out if Battlecry is worth our time and money. The trailer sure made me curious at least.
About Battlecry:
Welcome to the WarZone! BATTLECRY, a 32-player online team action game, is the first project from our Austin-based team, BattleCry Studios. Step into a bold, expressive world envisioned by Viktor Antonov (Half-Life 2, Dishonored) where gun powder has been banned following a cataclysmic world war at the dawn of the 20th century. Traditional warfare is now a relic of the past and all conflicts are settled head-on by elite teams of chosen warriors in sanctioned WarZones. Trained and bred for battle they face off for the glory of their nations.
