I haven´t writen anything about Sony Online Entertainment´s zombie survival MMO “H1Z1” since January. So i felt like it was about time that i did a little status update on that front.

Especially do to the fact that Sony Online has released some new in-game content for “H1Z1” just recently. Such as new skins, emotes and the battle royale crates for example.

Nice indeed, but the last time i wrote about “H1Z1” the players were pretty upset over Pay 2 win, micro transactions, tons of bugs and very poor gameplay value.

Thus, “H1Z1” received very blended reviews and player ratings on release. So has anything of that changed since January then? Well, the latest update (released on March 26th) added “some” stability, new items and new life to “H1Z1”.

Like the following for example:

– M9 pistol has been added to the game, it can be found around the world in the core game and is available in Battle Royale.
– Fixed bug where branch could be used to chop down tree.
– Zombie density has been increased and is more reactive to players.
– Landmines and bear traps have been improved.
– Can now harvest blackberries and sticks while holding guns.
– Can now more easily enter a vehicle that is parked in a bush.
– Anti-cheat – Continuing our efforts to provide a better anti-cheat service and stop more cheaters

And from what i´ve heard (from the players themselves), that update has improved “H1Z1” quite a lot. I´m not quite sure if i want to spend 19,99 Euro (via Steam) on the game just yet though.

I have to admit that i enjoyed the “New H1Z1 and Battle Royale Crates” video though xD
