Seriously, what´s up with todays kids and swatting? (calling SWAT on someone). I don´t remember when it started to be a “thing”. But i do recall reading about some swatting cases last year.

I do remember that most of those cases had something to do with COD though (in one way or another). But i haven ever heard of a case when a person has been swatted during a live stream before, at least not like this.

Sadly enough, that was the case for Joshua Peters (aka “Koopatroopa787“). He was just minding his own business (which would be live streaming “Rune Scape” and “Clash of Clans”).

So much for that live stream…

And out of nowhere came a whole SWAT team that pointed their guns at Joshua and his kid brothers. All because of that one person that called the police in St Cloud, Florida US.

As he/she made up a fake story about a gunman killing somebody in Joshua´s house. And people call this kind of thing for a “prank”? This ain´t no goddamn prank, it´s an act of terror.

And just like Joshua said himself, someone could have died during this prank (it´s also a waste of tax dollars). I sure hope that the St Cloud police department will find the one´s who did this to Joshua and his family, and that justice will be served.

At this time, there´s no clear suspects though.

“There’s no possible persons who I can think would do something like this to me … I’ve seen this happen to other streamers, I just never thought I would be the one to get randomly targeted,”
