It seems to be an almost impossible mission to turn a video game into a decent movie. Because many movies, directors and producers have failed in the past.
But even so, people keep on trying to make an epic movie based on a video game license.
This time it´s ALL about the second Hitman movie (“Hitman: Agent 47“) though, which is set for a cinema premier on the 28th of August this summer.
And the movie is directed by Aleksander Bach (never heard of), and stars Rupert Friend (“The Young Victoria”, “Homeland”) as agent 47 (20th Century Fox is the studio that backs the movie up).
That doesn’t sound to bad right? Well, to be honest. I´ve got a lot of mixed emotions about “Hitman: Agent 47”.
Because the first Hitman movie (2007) didn´t turn out all that well in the end (6.3/10 via imdb).
So let´s just say that i´m not having any high hopes for this movie. Because i feel that it´s much better to get a positive surprise, than a negative one.
