As some of you might remember, we reviewed Huge Calf Studios ski stations builder and physics sandbox game “Carried Away” last year. Well, guess what? Huge Calf Studios just informed us that they will release a free mash-up game called “Carried Away: Winter Sports” for PC via Steam very soon (the release is said to take place sometime next week):
“Carried Away: Winter Sports is a FREE mashup of fantastic bridge building action and hilarious Winter Sports ragdoll simulation. Based over 12 levels, this short insight into the Carried Away universe is a celebration of competitive winter sports!! With 3 new game modes and leaderboards (Time Trial, Freestyle, Long Jump) and 3 sports (Skiing, Snowboarding, Bobsleigh) there are plenty of ways to spectacularly succeed or fail” – Huge Calf Studios

“Carried Away: Winter Sports” includes three game modes that are brand-new to the “Carried Away” universe.
Nice indeed, but what exactly is “Carried Away: Winter Sports” all about then? Well, here’s what’s known about the game so far:
“Rise from humble beginnings to help Jimmy become the greatest winter athlete of all time. Carried Away: Winter Sports is a mashup of fantastic bridge building action and winter sports ragdoll simulation. Construct and shape ramps, bridges and jumps to give Jimmy the best possible chance of landing that gold medal he has always dreamed of. Carried Away: Winter Sports includes 3 game modes entirely new to the Carried Away universe: time trials, long jumps and freestyle. Help Jimmy become the ultimate winter athlete across all 6 events!”

I couldn’t help myself from thinking about a really old snow sports game called “Ski or die” when I saw this picture.
As for features, here are the sex different winter sport events that you will be able to enjoy in “Carried Away: Winter Sports” right from the very start:
Ski Jumping
Slopestyle
Big Air
Alpine skiing
Boardercross
All new sport – Bobsleigh Jumping!

“Carried Away: Winter Sports” offers six different winter sport events, and that includes everything from ski jumping, big air, boardercross to slopestyle.
I would also like to point out that Huge Calf Studios have added three new game modes to “Winter Sports” that are brand-new to the ” Carried Away” series, and those game modes would be time trials, long jumps and freestyle. So, with that said, are you guys and girls excited for “Carried Away: Winter Sports”? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
