So far, 2016 seems to become a really good year for those who love point-and-click adventure games. And it´s just about to become even better, because last night Cowcat informed me that he will release his upcoming adventure game “Demetrios: The big cynical adventure” on Steam in May (May the 31st to be exact, for Windows, MAC and Linux). So if you´re into old-school like adventure games, then keep your eyes open for “Demetrios”! I would also like to point out that you can download and play the demo for “Demetrios” today 😉 Personally; I enjoyed the demo quite a bit. As “Demetrios” reminded me about games such as “Broken Sword“, “Gabriel Knight” and “Discworld“. Any ways, I hope that you will enjoy the demo. And I hope that I will get a chance to review and record some gameplay videos for “Demetrios” asap (we “might” also throw a giveaway for the game on release).

With that said, you will find the latest “Demetrios” trailer down below!

About Demetrios:
Demetrios features Full HD, hand-painted visuals and animated characters in first person view, similar to visual novels. You might encounter a little pinch of Discworld (some of the humor), Gabriel Knight (comic cutscenes, characters heads/dialogs), Phoenix Wright (first person view investigation)…

Features:
– A long, varied, standalone adventure (8 to 12 hours of gameplay)
– Over 15,000 lines of dialog, filled with laughs!
– Hand drawn art in Full HD
– High level of interactivity. Characters react to your actions!
– Fun mini-games throughout the story
– Search for hidden cookies on every screen for optional puzzle hints!
– Compatible with gamepads, for relaxed, television viewing!
