It´s been less than two weeks ago since I wrote about the 2016 indie of the year awards via indieDB. Well, guess what? I was just informed that the top 100 Indies of 2016 list has now been nailed down:
“December 11th, 2016 – The players have spoken and the Top 100 Independent Games of 2016 has been determined. In the end 41,651 people picked their favorites with a diverse range of titles making the cut.
Some of the popular picks from this years Top 100 include The Isle, Guts and Glory, INSIDE, Stardew Valley, Firewatch and many other indies worth exploring.
Now is the time for players to help us decide the top 10 released and upcoming indies of 2016, which they can do by submitting their votes at the top 100 page. Only 10 days left until our winners will be locked in and announced shortly after. For more information on the event including a live scoreboard head to the awards page.
Every vote counts, the clock is ticking!” – IndieDB
In other words, now it´s time to vote for the top ten released and upcoming indies of 2016. So you got about nine days to pick and vote between 100 games in IndieDB´stop 100 Indies of 2016 list. That´s also why I´m going to check out the list as soon as possible, because the closer we get to Christmas the busier I will be.

I can´t say that I´m surprised to hear that Unity is the hottest engine for indie game developers, because I´ve seen tons of indie games that runs on the Unite engine.
And with that said, which indie game (s) will you vote for? Let us know your thoughts in the comment section down below!
