I am very happy to inform you guys and girls that Cowcat Games is going to port and publish Diabolical Mind’s roguelite platformer “Xenon Valkyrie+” to the PS Vita =) And better yet, the game is coming out to PSV this winter:

“Hello, I’d like to announce that I’ll be porting and publishing a new title on PlayStation Vita this winter! Xenon Valkyrie+ is a roguelite platformer game with RPG elements. It features old-school gameplay, quality pixel art and chiptune music.” – Fabrice Breton, Cowcat Games

“Xenon Valkyrie+” is said to offer hard gameplay and permadeath. So I take it that I (and others) will die quite a few times throughout the game.

Great news indeed, and for those who don’t know what “Xenon Valkyrie+” is all about, here’s the actual description for the game:

“Xenon Valkyrie+ is a rogue-lite platformer game with RPG elements in which you must fight to the deepest part of a moon and halt the plans of a wicked witch. Obtain many weapons as you fight through a unique, randomly-generated world every time you play. Encounter many characters, stores and enemies that tell a legendary story. With traditional graphics and high quality chiptune music, level up and get the amazing power of the Xenon Valkyrie!”
