I have honestly lost count over all the candy crushing puzzle games that exist on the market. Because there´s so darn many of them. But just like always, there can only be one nr 1. Or in some cases, newcomers that try to reshape the whole genre.

And that seems to be the case with Outplay Entertainment´s “Mystery Match”. A F2P match-3 puzzle/adventure game for iOS.

Mystery Match hopes to take the whole “Match-3 style games” genre to the next level.

Well, at least if you choose to believe Outplay Entertainment´s own statements on the matter. But i´ll tell you what. I´m going to give Mystery Match a try myself, to see if it´s true or not. Yes, it´s iPad time!

Press release:
DUNDEE, UK – November 14, 2014 – Outplay Entertainment, one of the leading mobile publishers and developers of games in the United Kingdom, today announced that Mystery Match its new title which brings an all-new blend of captivating narrative and jewel-matching brain teasers to players’ mobile devices, is now available in the App Store at: www.bit.ly/MysteryMatchiOS

“We’ve played a lot of Match-3 style games and we’re big fans of the genre” said Richard Hare, President of Outplay Entertainment. “Adding the mystery components and building a compelling story around the gameplay in Mystery Match was very important in order to give players a reason to engage with the game and progress beyond just beating the next board.”
