It´s been a while since i enjoyed a really good fighting movie. But it seems like Antoine Fuqua (King Arthur, Brooklyn’s Finest, The Equalizer) got something really nice in the making with “Southpaw”.
A movie that´s full of stars. Stars such as Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Naomie Harris, Forest whitaker, Rachel McAdams and Jake Gyllenhaal (who plays the main character Billy Hope).
So what´s “Southpaw” all about then? Well, it´s about a boxer (Billy Hope, that´s played by Jake Gyllenhaal) that´s fighting his way to the top. And while doing so, his whole life falls apart around him).
The rap god himself (Eminem) is a part of the soundtrack for “Southpaw”.
Sounds pretty cool huh? Well, it get´s better! As. Eminem is a part of the soundtrack for the movie.
In fact, Eminem premiered his new song “Forgive me now” in the “Southpaw” trailer (the one which you will find down below). So when will “Southpaw” be shown at cinemas then?
On July 31th (US) to be exact. So keep your eyes (and ears) open for it if you like fighting movies!
